Since 1999 Inner City Computer Stars has been identifying, training, and jump-starting technology careers for the Chicago area, low-income young adults who lack access to education and employment demonstrate extraordinary potential for success in the business world and for impact in their community. In 2018 we opened our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location and officially launched in Kansas City in the spring of 2023.

Our 16-week paid, immersive internship boot camp focuses on three components: business, leadership, and technology. You will engage with CEOs, CIOs, community leaders, entrepreneurs, and more DAILY! You will gain hands-on experience solving a real-world problem provided by our corporate project sponsor. This program is completely FREE!

You should be/have:

-18+

-High School diploma or GED

-Live in KC Metro area (KCK/KCMO)

-Minimum 6 months prior work experience

-Interest in technology

-low to moderate income

-Partial college credits and associate degrees accepted (BS/BA degree holders are OVERQUALIFIED
